On September 27th, 2024, the MAPWORMS project had the wonderful opportunity to participate in Bright Night 2024: European Researchers’ Night, hosted in the stunning setting of Palazzo Boyl at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.
During the event, we presented our pioneering research in bioinspired soft robotics, highlighting how the unique characteristics of marine worms inspire the development of next-generation robotic designs and innovative applications. Through interactive exhibits and detailed explanations, we engaged the public in understanding how the morphology and movement of these fascinating creatures could lead to breakthroughs in robotics for medical, environmental, and industrial fields.
