MAPWORMS project was showcased at the INNODAYS innovation exhibition held from November 24th to 26th, 2023, organized by the Region of Crete. At the Mediterranean Agri-Food Competence Centre (MACC) stand, the Educational Unit of HCMR and the CRETAquarium aimed to engage children interactively in marine science topics based on the principle “Because Research, Knowledge and Innovation start with children…”.
As part of this initiative, our captivating micro-CT scans were presented on a touch screen monitor using the Drishti Prayog software. Children had the opportunity to explore and interact with our 3D worms!
The initiative successfully bridged scientific exploration with public awareness, demonstrating the project’s commitment to fostering early interest in research and innovation.
